Yin Yoga
being there … allowing … listening
Yin Yoga, as a very calm and meditative style of yoga, is a wonderful counterpoint to the fast-paced sides of our lives.
We do little and feel a lot — arriving consciously in the body and the breath. The thoughts follow, and so the mind becomes calmer too. We get to know our limits and learn to accept them (lovingly), and to appreciate our room for growth and our strengths.
Through long holds we reach deep-lying, dense and inflexible structures such as connective tissue, fasciae, joint capsules and bones. But this practice also touches our essential mental and emotional patterns. Slowly yet steadily we develop the ability to let go and to allow change.
Quite naturally, we learn to become still, to accept what is, to relax and to enjoy.
Seek stillness and take your time to grow into your dreams
