Yang Yoga
breathe in … breathe out … smile — Forrest Yoga inspired
In Yang Yoga we can become powerful and soft at the same time (sthira sukham asanam) — we create good space and loving strength. We develop stability, mobility and a feeling of lightness.
My Yang Yoga classes are "Forrest Yoga inspired". That means we use many fantastic tools and the power of Forrest Yoga as taught by Ana T. Forrest. For me, Forrest Yoga changed everything: it gives me access to my breath and lets me work with my injuries and my tasks; it supports me and carries me further along my path. It gives me strength, stability and trust. It reminds me to breathe deeply and to let go of what I do not need.
I teach a slow but powerful yoga flow — with courage, feeling and humour, and with the aim of feeling thoroughly at ease.
Movement follows the breath. Body and mind follow our intention. And we follow our sense of our needs and abilities. With this focus we refine our body awareness and tune our movements to one another. With stable roots we straighten our posture and develop a relaxed connection between body, mind and emotions. We feel grounded and centred, at ease and confident to master the challenges we face.
Step by step we learn to recognise and release unwholesome (movement) patterns. We find joy in movement and develop humour in dealing with our abilities and supposed weaknesses.
With a smile, we grow beyond our limits.
Experience is not what happens to a man; it is what a man does with what happens to him
What yogis say …
Judith's yoga classes are always great fun. She explains each exercise precisely, clearly and in a very practicable way. The balance between effort and relaxation is spot on. Afterwards I feel relaxed, loose and centred again.
